We protect the investment of football clubs so that their players stay cool under pressure and help all kinds of sports teams bond together through an adverse shared experience where they develop new resilience. For football fans looking to stay cool under pressure click here.
The aim of this section of the programme from Episode 2 was to enable the young offenders to maintain control over intimidating and confrontational situations - ultimately to help the young men we worked with avoid re-offending behaviour on their release.
WARNING: This video contains strong language and depicts racial and other abuse in a role playing training environment. The work was part of the Sky1 documentary "Football Behind Bars" - first broadcast within Episode 2 of the six part series with Ian Wright the former professional footballer.
This video shows a small part of what we did on the day with two groups. All the lads responded well and we trust our work will help them avoid re-offending by being able to deal with peer pressure more effectively and be assertive rather than aggressive or passive.
